Riggtech provides splicing services to both sailing and motor yachts. We work in partnership with Donaghy’s (a high-quality rope supplier) and hardware suppliers to refine and improve splicing production methods to provide optimal outcomes. Our massive range of sizes, colours and cordage types, combined with your choice of countless shackles or snap shackles are readily available for producing only the best quality final outcome appropriate for varying load requirements.
Through our trusted partner of 30 years Donaghy’s, we offer rope with a combination of cutting-edge fibres and innovative technologies designed to withstand everything from the blistering sun to heavy weather conditions that Australia and the world has to offer.

Ropecoat
We have even gone a step further than competitors and collaborated with a specialist UV coating company to develop a product we call 'Ropecoat'. This is a water-based, non-toxic paint, used to protect cordage from sun damage and increase its longevity, through stiffening and stabilising the braids. It is used by standard cruiser and racing yachts, as well as America's Cup Syndicates and other ocean racing yachts.
