Riggtech was proudly commissioned by a long-time client and close family friend to design, fabricate, and install a fully custom carbon-fibre rig and boom system—along with all associated rigging components—for a one-of-a-kind luxury yacht build.
Our team was thrilled to be part of this project from the early design phase, bringing together innovation, craftsmanship, and aesthetic harmony to match the bespoke nature of the yacht.
Precision Engineering & Seamless Design
This comprehensive rigging package included a carbon-fibre mast, boom, spreaders, spinnaker pole, and vang, all spray-painted in a soft beige tone to complement the yacht’s deck—executed entirely in-house in our retractable spray booth for a flawless, marine-grade finish.
To preserve the yacht’s sleek lines, our team developed a simple, elegant deck layout that balances minimalism with high performance. Every element was carefully considered to avoid visual clutter while maintaining sailing functionality.
Tailored Details & Premium Materials
At the client’s request, we sourced custom rope solutions in a refined beige palette. Each line was selected not only for visual coherence but also to ensure easy differentiation for practical onboard use—subtle design cues ensured nothing detracted from the yacht’s timeless appearance.
We also custom-fabricated all stainless steel deck fittings in-house, polishing each component to a mirror finish. This included:
