From the Bottom to Better Than New: Our Trusty Work Boat
Believe it or not, this is our reliable work boat—though it hasn’t always looked this good. Around a decade ago, it sank after heavy rainfall overwhelmed its drainage system, which had been blocked by grease. While we were able to salvage the hull, the outboard motor and all onboard electrical systems were lost to the water. Lesson learned: always keep your drains and bilge pumps clean and regularly maintained!
Not ones to give up on a good boat, our team brought it back to life. We stripped it down, gave it a fresh coat of marine-grade paint, installed a brand new outboard engine, and replaced the entire electrical system. But we didn’t stop there.
To protect both our equipment and our clients’ vessels, we custom-installed a 316 stainless steel and rubber bumper around the new motor—ideal for avoiding accidental contact when tied alongside in shifting winds.
We also added a removable towing frame to help us efficiently tow yachts to the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, making project logistics smoother and faster. To accommodate dry storage on the hardstand, we fitted custom lifting points and lifting slings for safe hoisting with the club’s crane systems.
Now fully upgraded and better than ever, our work boat is a true reflection of our team’s capability, care, and craftsmanship.
