Riggtech is proud to support and maintain the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club’s fleet of Elliott 7 One Design yachts—an ongoing partnership that has spanned many years. These high-performance vessels are in constant use for club racing and community sailing programs, requiring regular, expert maintenance to keep them race-ready and safe.
Our team knows these yachts inside and out. One of the most frequent maintenance tasks involves replacing main halyards, which requires precise rope-to-wire splices and swaging halyard locks and shackles to exact measurements. These elements must be manufactured and fitted with absolute accuracy to ensure flawless operation under racing conditions.
Beyond rigging work, we’ve also carried out a range of essential maintenance and repair tasks including carbon fibre repairs to masts, booms, and spreaders, as well as full replacements of both standing and running rigging. We frequently operate on tight schedules, aligning our work with the club’s active racing calendar to ensure these boats are always ready to sail.
